Civil War Volunteers

Under the auspices of the Comstock Civil War Reenactors of Reno, featured are both Union and Confederate troops and an 1860’s civilian town with living history demonstrations. Highlights include the Fife & Drum Corps, a working hospital, Christian Commission, tavern, and store fronts offering their wares, such as spinners, weavers, a ladies shop, and more... The Nevada Civil War Volunteers display a stunning living history area as well.

Mountain Man Camp

Pony Express

The National Pony Express Association will demonstrate how the mail made it from St. Joseph, Missouri to Sacramento in 1860 and 1861. See the "mochila" passed from rider to rider, meet the men and horses that rode the trail that united the west.
